- SmartFlow Hydraulics: The E16 features the groundbreaking SmartFlow hydraulic system, which utilizes a load-sensing pump to provide “power on demand.” This allows for smooth, simultaneous movement of the boom, arm, and bucket without loss of speed, a level of precision typically found only on much larger excavators.
- Ultimate Portability: Specifically engineered for easier transport, the E16 is 100kg lighter than the model it replaces. This weight reduction, combined with a hydraulically retractable undercarriage that narrows to 980mm, makes it the most trailer-friendly and accessible workhorse in the R2-Series lineup.
- Enhanced Operator Visibility: The R2-Series cab design offers class-leading visibility with larger glass surfaces and narrower pillars.
